U19 Basketball FOBISIA Tournament

In 29th November 2023, Harrow Lions Basketball Boys Varsity Team went to Rugby School Thailand and participated in FOBISIA 2023 U19 Basketball Invitation Tournament. This is the first time in Harrow Lions Basketball history that they have participated in this prestigious basketball event; at this level you must compete not only with skills and athleticism but also celebration teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship.

Since the beginning of the school year, our players have been conducting in intensive training, in order to participate in various major basketball events. During the FOBISIA tournament, our players competed in six games and demonstrate Harrow Beijing’s values- Courage, Honor, Humility and Fellowship. In addition, Harrow Lions Basketball players have exhibited exceptional dedication and passion. It was truly inspiring to witness their growth and development both on and off the basketball court.

In Harrow Beijing, showing respect to others and officials, working hard and a sense of belonging are part of our sport philosophy. In each session, we not only focus on Individual basketball and fitness practice but also conduct team technical and tactical training. According to sports season, we have excellent basketball training program. In school time we opening LSA for variety of age group. Besides that we are going to open winter camp for basketball and also weekend practice session soon. In Senior Basketball season, Harrow Lions Basketball team (Boys and Girls)participate in many games between international schools. In January, Harrow Lions Basketball boys and girls will join ISAC tournament and ACAMIS Basketball tournament.

As a school we are also appreciate all of the parents support and positive engagement, making this tournament meaningful. We are looking forward to more major basketball events and hope our Harrow Lions Basketball team have more dazzling performances. We will continue our excellent Harrow Basketball programmed and encourage younger athlete to enter international basketball stages.
