In the latest early admissions results for the Class of 2025, Harrow students have once again achieved outstanding success, garnering impressive offers that reflect their exceptional capabilities and determination.

Alumni Stories: From Harrow Beijing to The World

This week, Harrow Beijing welcomed two special guests back to campus—Emily and Vicky, alumni from the Class of 2019. Although they have been away from Harrow for years and have embarked on their respective life journeys, their bond with their alma mater remains strong. Returning to the familiar campus, they reconnected with their teachers, reminisced about their time at Harrow Beijing, and shared their experiences studying and working in the UK.

Emily (UCL Undergraduate, Cambridge University Master, Currently Pursuing a PhD at Cambridge University)

During her time at Harrow Beijing, Emily not only excelled academically by choosing Geography, Mathematics, and Chemistry at A Level but also actively participated in various school activities. Reflecting on her high school years, she shared: “At Harrow Beijing, my Geography and Chemistry teachers not only taught me knowledge that enabled me to pursue a degree in Geography but also provided me with immense encouragement, support, and academic assistance throughout my learning journey, especially during university applications and essay writing. Beyond academics, the leadership training at Harrow Beijing equipped me with strong communication and teamwork skills. The authentic British education experience also allowed me to seamlessly transition into university life in the UK.”

Vicky attributes her growth to Harrow Beijing’s emphasis on whole-person education. Reflecting on the most impactful experiences that benefited her long-term, she said: “The first would be reading. I participated in The Battle of the Books competitions, which required us to read 20 books annually. This laid a solid foundation for my studies in the humanities. The second was public speaking. This skill has made me more confident, whether during my university years or in my professional career, enabling me to effectively present and share my ideas.” Speaking about her relationships with teachers, Vicky added: “At Harrow, we were fortunate to have excellent teachers who not only taught us knowledge but also guided us on how to navigate life’s journey. I have maintained strong relationships with many of my teachers, occasionally messaging them to share moments worth celebrating. I believe these teachers will remain some of the most important people in my life.”

The return of alumni serves as a bridge between them and their alma mater, as well as having a strong connection with their teachers. Seeing their former students mature and become more confident fills the teachers with immense pride and joy.

2025 University Offers

As 2025 quietly approaches, Harrow Beijing’s Class of 2025 students have reached a significant milestone—the announcement of University Offers. Over the past months, the graduating students have worked tirelessly alongside their teachers, striving to turn their hard work into opportunities at their dream universities. In this year’s University offers, Harrow students once again showcased their exceptional academic abilities and well-rounded qualities, earning recognition from some of the world’s top institutions.

This year’s University offers continue Harrow Beijing’s traditional strength in UK-bound applications. So far, students have received offers from prestigious universities such as University College London (UCL), King’s College London, the University of Warwick, Durham University, and the University of Bath. With interviews for the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford already concluded, we extend our best wishes to the Harrow students who participated and look forward to their outstanding results. Despite a smaller number of U.S. applicants this year, our students have also achieved notable success, with admissions offers from New York University and Northeastern University.

The success of Harrow Beijing’s University offers is inseparable from the school’s holistic education philosophy. Harrow has really nurtured my passion for the performing arts，I would say that it’s really the birthplace of my dreams. Harrow has provided me a lot of opportunities along the way for the 12 years I’ve been at the school allows me to grow beyond an actor and as a performer honing my skills in dance music and acting.

One definite highlight of my sixth form life is my unique subject combinations which are Math, Economics, History and Spanish，all of which I really enjoy studying. and apart from this, in year 12 electives. I have participated in the Sports Leaders and gaining qualification and also have completed an EPQ project.
